Light Demolition Services
Deck removal, shed demolition, hot tub removal, fence teardown — we handle the whole job from first swing to final cleanup. No contractors needed for the haul-out. We do it all.
What Is Light Demolition?
Light demolition means we take down structures that don't require heavy equipment or engineering permits — decks, sheds, fences, hot tubs, swing sets, small outbuildings. These are the projects that people put off for years because they don't know who to call.
You call us. We show up with the right tools, tear it down safely, sort and load every piece, and haul it all away. When we leave, the only thing left is a clean, open space.
We serve homeowners and contractors across Coeur d'Alene, Spokane, Post Falls, Hayden, Rathdrum, Spokane Valley, and all surrounding communities — with the same flat-rate pricing and owner-operated reliability on every job.
What We Demolish
If it can be safely torn down without heavy equipment, we can handle it. Here's what we do most — and we haul every bit of it away.
Old, rotting, or unwanted decks taken down and hauled away completely. We dismantle wood, composite, or concrete decks of any size.
Backyard sheds, garden sheds, old outbuildings — torn down safely and removed entirely. We handle wood, metal, and plastic sheds.
Hot tubs are impossible to move alone. We dismantle, remove, and haul away spas and hot tubs — including draining and disconnection prep.
Old, broken, or unwanted fencing pulled out — posts, panels, rails, and all. Wood, chain link, vinyl, split rail — we take it.
Old wooden or metal playsets disassembled and removed. Whether it's rotting or just unused, we take the whole thing down and haul it out.
Backyard structures — gazebos, pergolas, arbors, and canopy frames — taken apart and removed whether wood, metal, or kit-style.
Carports, lean-tos, outbuildings, patio covers, and similar small structures. If it's non-structural and needs to come down, we can do it.
Above-ground pools drained, disassembled, and hauled away — frame, liner, filter equipment, and all hardware included.
Small concrete pads, flagstone patios, brick pavers, and stepping stones broken up and hauled away to clear your yard.
Our Work
Real jobs, real results. We tear it down, haul it away, and leave the space clean.
How It Works
Tell us what needs to come down. Frank or Romen picks up directly. We'll ask a few quick questions and get you a quote.
For larger demo jobs, we walk the site and give you a firm flat-rate quote before any work starts. No hourly billing, no guessing.
Owners on site with the right tools. We work safely, efficiently, and keep the surrounding area protected throughout the job.
Every piece goes into our 18 cubic yard truck. We sweep up, rake out, and leave the space ready for whatever comes next.
Why Choose Us for Demo
We don't just haul — we dismantle and remove the whole structure.
We rake, sweep, and leave the area clean after every job.
One price, quoted before we start. No hourly, no surprises.
The owner handles your job personally, every single time.
What Customers Say
"Had an old deck that was rotting away. Frank and Romen had the whole thing torn down, loaded up, and gone in less than a day. Clean site, fair price, and I knew who was coming before they showed up. Couldn't ask for more."
— Homeowner, Coeur d'Alene, ID"My backyard hot tub had been sitting dead for two years. I called Simple Junk Removal and they came out next day, drained it, pulled it apart, and hauled everything away. These guys are legit — I'll use them again for anything."
— Homeowner, Post Falls, ID"As a contractor, I've worked with a lot of demo crews. Frank and Romen are the ones I call now — they know what they're doing, show up when they say, and leave a clean site. They've become part of how I run my jobs."
— General Contractor, Spokane Valley, WAFAQ
For most residential demo projects (decks, sheds, fences), permits are not required in the CDA and Spokane area. However, rules vary by city and structure size. We'll let you know if your project is one where a permit could be needed based on what you describe.
Yes — small concrete pads, patio slabs, and footings. We handle concrete breaking and removal for smaller pads. For very large slabs we'll assess on site and let you know if it's within our scope.
Most residential decks take 3–6 hours depending on size and materials. Small decks can be done in a morning. We can give you a time estimate when we look at the job.
We don't do electrical work, but we'll walk you through what needs to be disconnected before we arrive (usually just shutting off the breaker). Drainage we can coordinate or do ourselves. We handle everything else from there.
Absolutely. Many customers combine a demo job with a junk haul — clear out the garage while we tear down the shed. We'll price it as one job based on the total truck space used.
